Norwegian Forest cats are large, strong, and muscular. They have a full double coat, with a glossy, thick, water-resistant top layer and a woolly undercoat for insulation. Their eyes are almond-shaped and can be any color. The breed has a strong, broad head and the profile has a straight nose and a flat forehead.
